FAQs + What to Expect

What is Wild + Regulated?

Guided somatic nature experiences that blend walking, grounding, breath, and nervous system wisdom — all outdoors.

Is this therapy?

No. These are somatic, nature-based experiences, not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.

Do I need any experience?

Nope. Just willingness to walk, breathe, and be curious.

What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes, water, layers, sunscreen, and anything you personally need to feel good being outdoors.

Can dogs join?

Yes — optional. My gentle pups (Hermione + Luna) often join as co-regulating companions. You can request a dog-free session anytime.

What if I’m not very fit?

Walks are slow and spacious.
Hikes are more vigorous but still trauma-informed and paced carefully. You choose what works for your body.

What happens during a session?

We walk, we pause, we breathe, we orient, we notice what’s happening in your body, and we let nature help your system settle.

Where do sessions take place?

Beautiful, accessible Los Angeles trails and green spaces chosen for quiet, shade, and regulation-friendly terrain.

What if I’m feeling emotional?

Great. You’re safe. We slow down, regulate, and let things move in a grounded, paced way.

What should I wear?

Anything you can walk, stretch, and sit comfortably in.

What if it rains?

Light rain: sessions usually continue — it can be magical.
Heavy rain: we reschedule.
