Wild + Regulated with Andrea Harner
Andrea Harner is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), child forensic interviewer, and founder of Wild + Regulated.
She has spent nearly two decades working in child protection, trauma-informed interviewing, and advocacy for vulnerable children and families. Her work blends a deep understanding of the nervous system with practical, embodied tools that help people return to a sense of steadiness, safety, and aliveness.
Andrea is trained in Somatic Experiencing, polyvagal-informed practice, and trauma-responsive communication. She has conducted hundreds of forensic interviews, taught nationally on trauma-informed practice, and continues to volunteer as a cold-case investigator. Over years of supporting children through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, she has cultivated a grounded, compassionate presence and a profound belief in the body’s innate capacity to heal.
Her greatest resource for her own regulation is daily nature hikes with her beloved dogs so sharing this is her greatest joy: she guides clients through nature-based somatic walks and hikes — slow, spacious experiences rooted in gentle awareness, curiosity, and the regulating power of the natural world. Her two dogs, Luna and Hermione, often accompany sessions as warm, co-regulating companions.
